Had some work done on the 406 in March before I got rid, new UJ in the steering column, new track rod ends and wheel alignment.
Usually I have to remind him to bill me, but this time I forgot.
A bill turned up today for it

Proper old school mechanic. Semi retired, works from his garage. The garage is almost as big as his house!
Usually I have to chase him up for bills but as I got the new car I totally forgot Abit annoying but such is life!

He's great for servicing and most stuff on the car.
But my car is still going to to Ford to have the two timing belts done I don't think I could trust anyone else with the job, especially as I have that bloody belt in an oil jacuzzi or some nonsense.

Oil oil bath belt is just like a timing chain. There is no difference between the chain and the belt.
Other than the fact one cassette has a chain and another a belt. At least if it is taken to ford the belt is warrantied for the 10yrs/125k.
