took me longer to get the wheel off, :cheesy:

how ever the aux belt is a complete basterd to get back on,
you need small hands ripped my self to bits squeezing my hands in there :(
fancy doing mine?
cambelt ? or aux belt

cambelt is doddle to do mate,
Looks like Dad has been 'volunteered' to do daughter's '53-plate 1.4 KFW engined 206........
(She's had it for 5 years+ / 60k...... Oh! do they need to be serviced, then)?

Is the crank locking pin behind / above the starter, (like a proper engine) - it's about the only but not on your pic.......
Guessing it's a spring-loaded aux belt tensioner too? (I have small hands :) , but a feeling I won't be immune from shedding a bit of skin :( ).

Look forward to the next thrilling episode of why doggy should stick to the day job. :supafrisk:

ididnt lock the crank off. ijust Made a Marker. its easier,

The Aux belt is a Mare. you need two sets of hands, get someone to hold the aux belt on the crank pulley whilst you route the belt
theres no room in there, so expect a few scrapes on your arms, :(

You're right, it is an absolute doddle. :cheesy:

(Would've been even quicker if dipstick here hadn't p1ssed about unecessarily removing the bolt from the end of the crankshaft).

Didn't find it too bad, (but I did make a sketch of which way it went, like I always mean to but never remember). Got it off easily, but I had someone hold the tensioner while I put it back on. I can see it would be a sod on your own.
