Is it normal for a small amount to come from the exhaust?

Really? I thought it was something to do with a car being used for lots of small journeys and it not warming up properly?

Anything petrol with a cat-alystic convertor does it as a rule,
ive not seen many Modern petrol cars not, spit out the odd drip

my mate once had a vauxhall cavalier 2.0 16v and that use to pump water out the exhaust.

When you burn any hydrocarbon fuel, you produce carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and water ( normally as a gas i.e. steam )
If it comes out of the exhaust as water, then it's cooling down and condensing.

Roughly 1 gallon of water, for each galon of petrol.....
welly could start a flood all by himself!

Worse in cold weather when the exhaust is cold & the water condenses more quiclkier.
