Re: Gaz's 1.9 Turbo Diesel
did the rear drums today. 2 hours do both. and found out the drivers side wheel as loads of play in it at 9 o clock
anyway on with the drum colour
before any work

a wire brush and water wash down

1st coat going on - 1st coat done

4th coat (still slightly wet)

with wheel on. much better than looking at rust

and last alloy needing to be buffed up . came up well.

Re: Gaz's 1.9 Turbo Diesel
no it came off straight away
it was a torx in the end of it (i'm guessing genuine links)
so i put a T40 in a 1/2 inch drive ratchet and a 16mm spanner over the nut and it came of with ease.
tip-x'd the inner bolt to ensure it went on same way.
also got inner bolt off with ease as well with my tools its easy. got a load of extension bars to get socket and ratchet in.
took a piccy when i'd finished.
