The reception on my radio is very poor on all channels. In fact I can only get it to find 1 or 2 stations with a search.
I did have a leak around the roof aerial but that has been removed and refitted and that has cured the leak. The garage said they cleaned up the contact area at the same time but it has made no difference to the reception.
Try replacing the aerial; they're not dear, and I've heard of others on here with similar issues seeing massive improvements once they'd replaced theirs.

My old 99 Xantia had similar issues, could barely pick up the 2 local stations and I'm in line of sight to the transmitter!
Took an aerial off a breakers D8 406 and it made a huge difference.
Looking at the old one, it had a bit of a tear on it and the fibres inside were showing. Maybe happened in a drivethrough car wash?
