Stereo remote

Post by Japster »

On the steering column on my 406 D9 the volume down button is a bit on and off wether it wants to work or not on the stereo remote stalk. Has anyone had theirs to bits to repair, and could you if you have explain whats involved.

Had a similar problem recently with my cruise control stalk, (which seems to have fixed itself), but eoin27 suggested it's easy to take the stalk off and clean it up.....see here
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

They're separate yes, the stereo and cruise stalks just plug in.
