Stereo Beeping

I've just noticed that my clarion stereo is beeping all the time now, i havent used it ages, done some work to the car a while back which meant i had to disconnect the battery.

I have tried the BSI reset and that hasnt fixed it, i'm tempted to get a new one anyone because this is just a tape deck, dont think its the one the car started out with becuase it doesnt have a source button on it or a socket for the control stalk

is it beeping for the code? i thought D9's didnt need a code

If its a D9 radio it may need recoding to the car, the radios dont have their own code but need re-coding to your actual car. Its exactly what mine needs right now! Beeps every 2-3 seconds.
