head unit back lighting.

Post by Dan224 »

Hi guys,

Decided to start sorting some of the minor/annoying little jobs, so here's your starter for 10.

The head unit back lights. Basically theres nothing there. The top display with the clock, station, outside temp etc, and the A/C display all light up fine, but nothing on the head unit and it all works perfect. So before I start pulling it all out, is it possably an easy fix, i.e loose wire at the back, or something internal?

Its a D9 with a clarion H/U and multi disk.

Cheers

I suspect it may be time to dust off the soldering iron...
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
