Anyways already had a Panasonic CQ-C7703 which is 70w x 4 (about 31w x 4 constant power) which is pretty decent for a headunit I'm sure you'll agree.
So I bought a set of Pioneer TS G171C Components to replace the front as the pioneer website said they were a direct fit in the 406, and I plan to run these off my headunit with the option of amping them up to a 2 channel later in the year but they'll be fine they are 35w RMS 170w Peak and 31w RMS and 70w should power them nicely.
I also got on special so Vibe Slick 69.3 < Top range ones not .2 .1 so two tweeters etc. A Fli Loaded 400S Amp and a Boss Wiring Kit, for £70 odd quid which I didn't think was too bad, this should handle the bass requirements well, especially since most of my boot is gone to a 90l lpg tank and I don't really want to put a subwoofer in there.
Anyways the rear parcel shelf vibrates with my standard peugeot 6x9s in the back, so what the hell will it be like with the Vibes fully amped and powered up, it's the metal chassis vibrating for sure any suggestions dynamat, also I haven't checked do you take out the standard speaker pods unscrew the originals whack in your new speakers and screw the rubber cap on the bottom again or do you have to modify the speaker holes and can't use the original carriers/covers which make the parcel shelf neat and smart? If that makes sense.
What do you think nice little entry/Mid range system?
Thanks
Johnny
