air filter(felt based) change on 406 hdi 90bhp

my service parts have just arrived,i have noticed ive been sent a ordinary panel filter with no felt base,my question is can i still use this filter?ive also purchased a timing belt kit consisting of belt,idler and tensioner also water pump.is there anything else ive forgotten,thanks guys.

Yes, you can use that filter, it's for the earlier model. but it fits.

You should change the alternator belt as well.Have a good look at the alternator belt tensioner.
