You won't find anything to keep the display. The stalk will require a pair of autoleads adapters - one for the car and one for the stereo
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

alpine do an adaptor for the display but it's horrible money and needs a top end head unit too

autoleads are developing them all the time last time i spoke to them they had the renault ones in production for sony alpine and kenwood
pug ones will prob be along in the next 6 months but again they cost heaps of cash

Actually, for Sony radios you can get an interface that will work with both the stalk and the display.
Connects2 carries them, parts no. CTDPGS002 for semi-multiplex cars, and CTDPGS003 for later full-mux.
I haven't tested them personally, but there's no reason they shouldn't work. You need to keep in mind that the headunit should have both the mini-jack remote input, and the Uni-Link CD changer socket.

you can splice in apparently but you really need to know what your doing and be able to make adaptors so it's not worth it on the cash and time front

the remote adaptors are about 35 quid so thats not worth the effort of making your own either
