Very nice 8) looks like a job well done. All you need is to re badge it on the front wings as an executive

Rather than starting a new thread
I've today purchased a leather trim for my D8, and fitted the rears tonight after work in about 45 mins.

Going to attempt the fronts at the weekend

If i've got this right from reading various threads, that If I don't have the wiring already in my car ( glx, so has all the goodies bar the leather, so maybe good chance). then don't bother using the ecu under the seat, and hard wire the seats with a fused live feed and fit an earth?

If so, can someone supply me with a wiring diagram to assist please :?:

Seems I don't have the ECU with the seats - was in a bit of a rush as nowhere to park the lorry I was in, when I picked them up

Will be hard wiring the seats I guess

Mate of mine said if I drop a seat around to him, he'll figure out what wires does what, unless someone has a wiring diagram?

Still not fitted fronts, as was trying to source one of those hacked ecu's that you just need to plug a fused live and an earth to.
Is ebay the only place to source one of these, whenever one might become available??

A few others have just hard-wired them.
The only difference you get with ECU is the memory function, (which I've used twice in a year & a half), is it worth the hassle?

As i'm not confident with electrics, and at the same time, is it worth spending hours and hours on it trying to figure it all out for the sake of £35?
If I had the ability, and at this time of year, a nice warm garage :cheesy: then yeah, i'd probably go for it, but I have neither, so the hacked ecu seemed the simpler option.

No, I guess, using the memeory function will be of little use, set it and that's it, but as said, electrics is definately not my forte :(

Weather hasn't been kind enough lately, but tonight after work, fitted the passenger seat in, and simply powered it up to fit and set it into position.

Only problem was the plug for the seat belt pre tensioners was different, so now have air bag light flashing away.
