Retro fit Sat Nav?
Hi all, i've got a Y reg 2.0 HDI GTX and was wondering if it is possible to retro fit sat nav by replacing the display and and getting the unit that goes in the boot, or am I heavily simplifying things?

tbh i really don't know in theory yes it should be possible but the car would have to have all the wiring in the loom and all the sensors for it to work if it doesn't and you are prepared to spend a long time retro fitting the wiring and sensors then again yes it should be possible but i would think that for the amount of time effort and cash it would cost it's gotta be cheaper to buy a garmin or tom-tom and loads less grief

Providing you've got a D9 of course, it is possible but it'll probably require sweet talking the dealer into re-programming the BSI or something daft, as well as a load of work and money. Get a tomtom.

I have a tomtom, and sat nav on my mobile, just wondering if it was possible after seeing the sat nav on ebay, just got me wondering
