Trailing ARM Front bush

Post by mbell666 »

Hi,

I think my near side tailing arm font bush has gone (i can move it back and forwards with pry bar and move the wheel by hand), even thou it passed it MOT like this (*). I am just trying to figure out the best way to fix this. Looking at it i could:

1) replace the whole arm, should be able do this myself but would have to buy the entire arm (think they may be £60+)
2) pay a garage to change just the bush (~£15(?) for bush + labor)
3) replace bush and front mounting, could to this my self i think but i do not know if you can buy the mount + fitted bush on its own

Does any one know if you can get the mount (inc bush) on there own? If so how much.

And what are your thoughts on the best thing to do?

Thanks

*They did comment it may need tracking because the tyres were unevenly warn, maybe that should have been a clue to them that something else was wrong! espically as it was tracked 3 months before.
