djgoplay wrote:guys did you know how much does a 406 coupe headlight cost in the UK?
because here in my country a manufacturer make angel eyes with original headlights.
i not have pictures of his work here, buy if you want i can find some pictures.
Please do find some pictures, I'd be interested in seeing them.

As for how much a headlight costs. Well, from Peugeot it'll be anything between £80 to £200, for ONE.

I wonder how much an entire 406 would cost if you bought it part by part from a stealer...

.... I can find out for you mjb, but it would be in about 10 days, You'd be best to ring me first to check the answer came in with our parts delivery on the day, and I will have to charge you extra carriage if you want the answer any sooner.

You will have to quote your VIN number first, but not today, because the parts computer is down, try again tomorrow, but we can't guarantee anything..............

so whats the deal with these lights? they make a kit to fit the headlights, or they convert your headlight?

ok, so ive discoverd these HALO rings, that you can insert into you headlights, but you have to take the lense off, then seal it back on after..... :?

how easy do we reckon this could be?? of not worth touching??

Saw a new Astra with these things on the other day. It actually looked quite smart behind me with his 'halo' sidelights (2x on both sides), and when he put his headlamps on (ahain, 2x on each side) they were just about perfect - didn't dazzle me at all, in fact I thought they looked far too dim! But when he overtook me I saw they had a heck of an effect on the road ahead. Those halo things would look crap on a 406 though ;)

Can't have been an Astra VXR... He was after an acceleration comparison (not a race, because that'd be illegal) and I utterly smoked him ;)

I should add the lights were white, not blue or green or other illegal colours...

Personally I reckon they belong on a E39 5 series update but thats just me. Its pretty popular here for people with E36's to go for that treatment, I know someone who uses a traditional "orangey" normal globe on the "halo" rings and it looks fantastic!

Not too keen on the whole "lexus IS200" tail lights as well - Very popular on Mitsubishi Lancers....everyones got different tastes I suppose :)

Ever considered a nice HID kit if there is one for the 406 - That would look pretty nice?
