Would the XU zorst gasket fit an XU10J4? Hadn't driven the Mi for a few weeks, got in it today and it sounds like i've got a slight blow (oo-er matron!)
If it does fit i'd be happy to send up the postage costs.
Nice Mi16 would cure what ails you, mate. More addictive than heroin, more precice than an F15 on a lazer guided bombing run, more fun than oral sex with the sister in law (oops - shouldn't have said that last bit!).

Mi16 phase 1, and Mi 4 x 4 up to 1992, were the alloy blocked Xu9J4, derived from the older 8v unit in the 205 GiT. 160 BHP at first, but down to c.145 on the later CAT models.
1993 onwards came the phase II Mi16 and the Le Mans, about 60 pounds heavier but with stiffer shell. Engine is courtesy of the XU10J4, 2 litre iron block, derived from the competition unit, but shorn of its turbo (a 220bhp turbo version was available on the ultra rare Mi-T16, of which only 4 are known of in the UK with the XU10J4TE). this engine was also used in the barking mad 205 T16, which was a mid engined homologation rally special, several of which are in the PSOOC.
The bulk of the surviving Mi's are 2 litres like mine, as the alloy block was pilfered en masse by the 205 boys for their conversions, as the heavier iron block wasn't favoured.
If the gasket will fit an XU10 16 valve from a 406 it should fit my 405.

but lol the 205 T16 use's a 1.8 16v mid mount turbo ;) more like the 1.8 that goes in the 406 now than an Mi.
plus dude your gasket was new not so long ago so check the exhaust manifold hasnt cracked
there a bugger for doing that
