Is there a tiny hole on it that you can shove a bent paperclip through?
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

motorised ejection overide portal.

most if not all CD units and even PC DVD drives or CD Drives have them, it will be pretty hard to find but you should be ok with a torch and some close inspection.

on inserting the paperclip dont push too hard, you will not feel any noticable movement inside the hole, but gentle pressure should eject the carrage.

if not then a trip to the local Halfords should be able to sort it for you, they have a tool that slips down both sides of the carrage and disconnects the holding devise from the inside.

hope this helps :P

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't do anything until you have tried this.

Get a couple of small headed screwdrivers and put one down either side of the cartridge, press the eject button and them wiggle the screw drivers ever so slighlty and pull the cartridge out.

I did this on mine when I first got the car as my cartidge got stuck. Really simple to do.

When you put the cartridge back in, place it in gently and then it works fine.

Hope this helps.
