Wierd Changer Problem

Post by dannybarratt »

When I go around a corner I lose sound to the right speakers, If on the radio its fine. I have removed the changer and checked all cables, if I tilt the changer whilst playing the same problem occurs, although moving the main cable doesn't affect it.
Is anyone aware of a fault inside these changers that can be rectified easily. 98 GLXDT
Thanks

Could possibly be a dry joint on the board, it losing connection when the casing is moved.

Or a ribbon connector?

Yeah make sure that any ribbons are fully in and check around the board (especially bottom edge) to see if any connections have gone a bit manky.

Let us know how you get on.
