Actually I managed to hoof 2 x boxes of empty* oil cartons into the 'Landfill' container, one of the boxes had (20 mins prior) suffered an Environmental Disaster due to a Funnel/Carton/Floppy oil bag interface issue in the Garage.

On hoofing more of our household sh*t into this container a few mins later the tip/dump operative was actuating the 'compact' mode and as he did some geezers shitty carpeting moved and sort of held aloft my oily cardboard box (that in itself being a recycling faux pas) and displayed my address label facing front for all to see  :supafrisk:

Me and the lovely Mrs_Welly hit the road sharpish...

....beginning Testosterone treatment

Had a full set of blood tests recently and everything is marvelously spot-on; all A-1 results except my Testosterone is off the low end of the scale :(

'Age' was determined as the likely cause (I'm only 45) so have started a daily treatment of Testo Gel to bring the level's back up. I was properly warned not to get the Gel anywhere near the two females in the house as they would likely develop facial hair and deepened voices  it has to be applied in a controlled manner with no cross-contamination.

Exercise is the next target; I've been back on the Chinning Bar as much as poss and have bought a proper Skipping Rope. Had a quick go at skipping to confirm I can still do it and it's bloody knackering but an excellent work out. I'm not fat at 11.8 stone/5'10" but would benefit from working out more as my job is sedentary. I class myself as 'keeping busy' and every weekend I don't stop for a minute and in the week go for 15/20min walks once or twice a day but this is not enough apparently and to stop yourself becoming a useless blob at 60 yrs old you need to be fit now and stay fit. That's all good as that's how I want to be.

I'm having treatment to get rid of mine! I have recently finished 7 1/2 weeks of daily radiotherapy for prostate cancer and am on hormone therapy for 2 years, apparently the cancer feeds on testosterone so they are giving me female hormones (he says in a high pitched voice  ) I'm not changing shape yet though. You can have some of mine if you like, but I am 78.

Hope it goes well for you Welly

Not much point me trying then.

What's the issue with it being low, assuming you're not planning further additions to the clan Welton?

Come to think of it, I had noticed fewer rants at persons with badly aimed headlights, 'foggers' etc. of late.
Treat yourself to a tankful of sooper dooper unleaded and unleash the Volvo now and then.

Extreme tiredness and a general feeling of 'can't be arsed' even being tired on the way to work of a morning...and the rest of the day. Fairly low mood I guess with a hint of 'what's the point?' about things.

...sitting out a thunderstorm in this miniature camper van

The mighty 406 is currently resting in the spot where this pic was taken, having dutifully wafted us 900 miles south over Saturday and Sunday.
Odd to think that I sold the original dogmobile 5 years ago after our last trip to the Med, assuming that at 180k+ is wasn't reasonable to expect it to handle another journey like that. The current 406 has now completed almost 195k.

We stopped for a cold one in this here square on our way south, (anyone know where)?

This is where we be at the moment, (a bit easier to identify).

Nice pictures there, glad to here the 406 wafted you down there without drama (and I hope a/c). That cramper van looks bloody ace.

I'm rubbish at 'places' so I haven't got a cooking flue where you've visited :?

Cheers peoples.
'Twas Rodez Cathedral in the top pic and the other two are of Avignon and a certain bridge.
Currently in Aix les Bains, moving on to Switzerland today.

The 406 a/c is still holding up, doesn't seem as cold as it should, but definitely better than nowt. 8)

The "cramper van" is French, I think.....
So far I've fixed the fridge door and reconnected the gear linkage, currently working on the reading lights.

Keeping the cheese cold and being able to change gear sound fairly essential to me. Reading lights though, are you still using paper maps? Don't fix anything else though, they won't thank you!
