Re: wheel bolt wont go in
If the thread is damaged on the wheel side of the hub, try putting the bolt in from the back with plenty of lube, such as wd40, it might clean up the existing threads.
I wouldnt use loctite to hold it in, you will sruggle with it next time it has to come off and you maybee on the roadside with a puncture

You will need to remove the disc and caliper to do this, plus you risk stripping out the threads completely.
Loctite will not stop you undoing the bolt.
Re: wheel bolt wont go in
Just had a thought about this....I have assumed all along that this wheel bolt is on a front wheel....is this correct?
On the rear it is quite easy to replace the hub as they come complete with the wheel bearing.

yes front wheel. doing rear drop links later so will look at this wheel bolt again, if not will order stuff today and try and retap in week
Re: wheel bolt wont go in
fixed it. tapped it out and fitted new bolt.
tap £5 and peugeot bolt £3. took 30secs to tap out so great result, way better than changing the hub and bearing.

Well done
Good result

Always nice when the fix is so easy, I suspect someone was a bit too quick with the air gun in the past.
