Hi guys i need a little bit of help i got a ALPINE 1000w sub with box and i want to know what amp shall i use to power it whats recomened and does any have a cheap one lying about which they would like to sell?

Those Alpine subs are very nice, 1000W peak = 250W RMS so you want an amp delivering about 300W RMS maximum. I can highly recommend the JBL GTO 75.2 which will give you 290W RMS @ 4 ohms in bridged mode, loads of places sell them brand new for about £50.

i would use an alpine v12 mrd-500 i think, i had one, works best with an alpine headunit that can control it though
can be picked up quite cheap now
