Cheaper than a PV array that'll never pay for itself :(

I should've bought a German car instead, at least I'd have the joy of complaining about it

Nice one Sam 8) I quite liked the beige one though.... :supafrisk:

Weirdly enough we spent 3 hours in a Ford Dealership this afternoon too. Mrs Dai can't decided between a Focus or a Fiesta. Decision to be slept on.

Anyone wanna buy her current Focus? 2007 Focus Ghia 1.6Ti-vct in Ocean Blue Met with very low mileage at 42938, and only one dent

Fatha_Welly only ever buys Ford. Ever. He seems to loose quite a lot every time he "upgrades" although I'm convinced he's far too chummy with the local Dealership they have him over a barrel. One time he took his car for it's first MOT and they steered him into buying a new car..."oooh, first MOT, car's getting on a bit sir...."

I suggested he maybe looked at a BMW or Audi on the basis of (hopefully) less depreciation but no.

Best of luck anyway Bailes and don't forget the pics :cheesy:

Father_Earwig (what the f..?) Me pa never buys Fords, not since that POS Scorpio we had in about 1993. He wouldn't urinate on the local dealer if he was on fire. Since the Merc. he bought the Zaf that my brother has, it's only car he's ever bought new, but he didn't get on with it due to the bone-jarringly hard suspension (he hired one before that to see if would be ok but for some reason this one's completely different, something about spring rates and bigger wheels). After that he's had 3 x C5 estates, bought at around a year or so old so someone else took the depreciation hit. He's been looking to upgrade to something taller so it's easy for him to get in and out of, and with low sills so he doesn't trip over them while he's doing that: Sadly all he's come up with is Toureg or ML, so it looks like the C5 is staying.

Lease runs out end of April next year. At which point he hands it back and is given a hire car until he picks his next car!

I didn't sleep much last night. Excited is an understatement!

Sounds like you/he would do better to buy it and flog it on, if you can afford it / be bothered. Could make you some funds to pay back the twen, twent, ... No can't say it :D

Because the very same car I purchase on a 64 plate is £2000 cheaper than if I wanted for a 15.

Oh right that 'new reg' thing. So is yours coming straight from the factory like? my BIL has ordered a new Golf and has been given weeks galore to wait for the pleasure*.
