How will my 406 feel after a remap?

It should be more responsive and more eager to deliver its power so overtaking should be better but you probably won't widen that power band by much.
The big difference will be less need to drop a gear as the increased torque will give you better acceleration in a higher gear.

EGR delete can give a few more horses as its not diverting gases from spinning the turbo but the big bonus there is not choking the engine with crap which takes away horse power.
As far as I can tell EGR's and intercoolers are a stupid combination as one cools air and the other heats up the air you've just cooled. Fill the intake with crap and the engine runs inefficiently and increases emissions. To me its similar to DPF's, a knee jerk reaction to emissions control that only works on new cars and has less and less effect as time goes on.

A new MAF will give better economy and improved responsiveness as the ECU can accurately calculate the fuelling, with a broken MAF its working on a 'best guess'. A working MAF is a must if you want to see any gains from the remap.
