Went to put some junk in the boot this afternoon and saw a flap, wondered what was in it and beggar me, it's a CD player!
w00ts! I had no idea - have now filled her with some tunes!
Result!

Well it was a nice surprise anyway, so there ;)
I actually got the car slightly cheaper because the seller said this one didn't have a CD ;)

Hahaha I was exactly the same with mine
Drove all the way from Essex way up to Stoke during bloody Friday evening rush hour when I bought it, just listening to brainded crap that was on the radio because I forgot my FM transmitter and haven't owned a tape for many many years... Get home and "what's this?"... Gah!
Still, only took a couple of days to find a fascia adapter and drop my mp3 stereo into the car

I was happy when i rammed mine full of my best cd's. Couple of weeks later it died
Cd's are still stuck in it

Is there no emergency eject access? a little hole beside the opening through which one can poke a skewer to hit the eject mechanism.

Is there no emergency eject access? a little hole beside the opening through which one can poke a skewer to hit the eject mechanism.
Ive had a quick poke about and i cant see anthing, looks like a thump with a hammer will have to do

SKEWER?
Usually the manual eject holes are about the right size for a bent paperclip...
