Just looked on Servicebox, and it comes up with front pads at about £50.
Just wondered about what your experience of different makes has been, and price.
Seem to start at about £15 upwards on eby...

Re: Which Front Pads..?
At present im using Ebc pads theyre good value for there money's and not a lot of brake dust
on the Alloy's unlike other pads ive used,
My experience is..don't scrimp on pad's buy decent ones,
don't be tempted by these 15 quid prices unless its a maindealer clearout sale,
Another good pad ive had in the past,.was Jurid or jurad don't know how that's spelt but they where brilliant
fitted on the pugs ihad.

Re: Which Front Pads..?
i always use pagid disc's and pads OE fitted to loads of cars, they are great quality and not expensive.
i bought mine from euro car parts off ebay and i paid about £50 that was for disc's and pads, steer well clear of any thing really cheap the pads will be made of camel sh*t

Re: Which Front Pads..?
Thanks chaps.
I'll go for either EBC or Pagid.
I remember Jurid pads from other times as also being very good, but
don't see much mention of them being currently available for 406's.

Re: Which Front Pads..?
inever found any Jurid pads online, ialways got them off local motor factor (small car shop)
ibelieve that jurid are infact mintex. (so ive been told )
Ebc are brilliant. they can take a while longer than some others to Bed'in
ive got ebc yellow on mine and ebc ultimax on the wifes car. found theres been no difference in the two
so id go for the ultimax if iwhere to choose ebc again,. big difference in price too
