Welp, after a fruitless search for a new knob to replace my well worn out one, I stumbled upon a Jon (jonsowman) at a recent meet, who said that you can simply replace the leather rather than the whole knob.
Great! So, bought the leather from
here and followed the instructions on the Coupe club. Though, you do get fairly good ones from the seller as well. Took a while to put the "condom" on the knob as it was quite a tight fit. The seller even suggested the use of lubricant, such as olive oil over the knob for an easier fit.

I also replaced the black reverse lift lever with a silver one as I had one lying about from a while back.
