Gratitude for you.......
Thanks to Dai for prooving what we said was right, stupid idiots as we are.
Now lets get back on topic, today in the very slippery conditions, I was being careful trying to concentrate keeping in a straight line, but I had to keep checking my mirror and tapping the brake light to make the clown in a CAR 3 series keep his distance.

the idea of it was to remove the front fog light switch but keep a manual overide for the rear fog, so if its foggy, the fog lights will work but only then, but you can control the rear fog manually to keep the VOSA happy (wanka'sneildavies wrote:I hope that's the case too. Was some market research done and they found that BMW drivers are the worst for using foglights. When you can see the foglights that is, if their behind you, their normally too close to see the front of the car.

I wish they'd put a seperate rear fog light switch in. I use mine to let people know that they have their front fog lights on. But in doing so, I have to annoy the car in front of me with my front lights.
And yes, I know most of these people know their fog lights are on, but I like to annoy them as they do me.
Why is it that these donkeys think that switching on the front fog lights on a 1.1 saxo makes it a cool, fast and sporty car!!!

what most of those donkeys fail to realise is that the front fog lights draw about 17 amps of current, matched with a 50 amp altenator and battery, there actually loosing about 30% of there powerneildavies wrote:Why is it that these donkeys think that switching on the front fog lights on a 1.1 saxo makes it a cool, fast and sporty car!!!

Ah Darko, I've just read your previous post again and understand what you mean. That the rain sensor is stupid.
In which case, you've no need to appologise and it's us who should appologise. And your english is fine, it's us who should be a bit more understanding before jumping the gun.
Anyway, thanks to DaiRees, we all now know where the sensor is for certain.

I wouldn't really call the rain sensor stupid, although at times I really do wish it had a sensitivity control. That's one modification I'd like to make when I find my Haynes manual...darko wrote:Hey, Hey, Hey Guys!
Sorry for my English, I characterised "stupid" the rain sensor not any one of you, sorry if someone recognized him self![]()
Even 807 which I have has the same gizmo

I suppose the switch would have to be encased and put somewhere sensible around the car.
