Pugfest Morning Meet - 14th July 2013

Post by Bailes1992 »

I'm arranging a little meet before Pugfest.

Gates open at 9am for Pugfest so a few of us are getting together in Strensham Services (M5, J8 - Southbound) before hand.

I'l be there for 7:30am to leave around 8:30am for Pugfest.

Anyone is welcome to attend, if you want my phone number chuck me a PM!

Add you name to the list if you intend on meeting us at Strensham.

Thanks, Sam.

I notice you boys have picked a location which means you're safe I can't meet there
I'd have to drive past Pugfest to meet you lads there, so I shall save petrol (big engine you see she's thirsty) and I shall just meet you there..

Not intentional Sonia.
Was chatting to Richard and he agreed that Stensham was a good idea as it was central for everyone and not too far for you to go back on yourself.
I'm going to have to go back on myself 20m.

Before I commit - are we getting tickets at the gate or buying in advance?

My MOT is due the same day, so it depends if my turd passes the test before then as to whether I can go or not.

Meet point is okay, a bit of a double back but not too bad. Are there services there or something? To be there at 7:30 I need to leave home at 5am..!!

I believe they are £10 on the gate or £10 in advance so I will be paying on the gate.

Pug306.net are also convoying from Strensham Services.

I need to be leaving Dai's house about 6am. Probably leave mine around 5:15.

Yeah, it's services. It's easy for people coming from the north and 306 are there, but for southerners it means going up to Worcester to turn round

I couldn't find any better alternatives :(

It's an extra 8.5miles up and down so 17miles that you have to go back on yourself. It will be nice to get us all together before hand though rather than trying to round us all up once we are there.

It should be easy enough for the likes of Doggy who I would assume are coming down the M5 anyway. It's just us Southerners that are pulling the short straw

On Bing maps, there is a builders yard opposite with access to a flyover - maybe worth a phone call and some token beers to use it..??

How are you getting tickets THAT cheap?
Are you a fully paid member of PSCUK?
My understanding is that only fully paid members of PSCUK get that rate.
If you're going with the other forum that has a stand there it's £15 and for ''non members'' it's £20.
