Injector light warning D8

Hi not sure if anyone else has come across this, but very occasionally I get a warning light up on my dash which I have looked up and is linked to the injection system (and a few other things).

Any chance this could just need some injector cleaner running through it (due to its rarity this is what i'm thinking) or could I be missing something larger here.

What type of 406 is it?

TBH, its typically misfire or injector fault, what mileage you done and have you ever replaced your plugs and leads?

If its a turbo, petrol or diesel then it could be an overboost problem?!?!

Its a 1.8lx 406 ac. It only comes up occasionally, prob twice in the last 4 months.

Just dont want it to be damaging something else when it could be easily sorted out now.

By the sounds of things its possibly a misfire, that has become a stored ( DTC ) diagnostic trouble code, basically if a misfire is detected 3 times within *40 drive cycles I think it is then its stored as a DTC, if it doesn't occur again within another 40 drive cycles the light will turn off. Could be coil pack related??

*I think its 40, but might be less.

Best bet is to go get a diagnostic check done, it will cost you about £30ish and will save you from future problems, by identifying it now.
