The doors on later Audis still come in 2 halves? The mechanics had never seen one like that either.

Your mate's problem is probably that lots of modern cars need special tools to do anything on them, only available from the manufacturer and $$$. At least he could flog them all again when he gets rid of the damned thing.

I was going to be back there tomorrow as I've got some cheapo mud flaps to go on the yoyo but instead of that I'm back up the hopsicle again - I know I mentioned elsewhere about my white blood cell count, plus there's a whole load of stuff that I've no idea about, and my GP's given me a referral to see the blood doctor in the main hostibubble in ZG. One of our neighbours is a nurse up there, so instead of going up there ourselves to make the appointment, the wife give her the referral on Monday so she can do it. Yesterday she asked us for all my tests so they can see if it's anything urgent. So the wife got a text from her this morning to say I've got an appointment for tomorrow morning. Nervous, me?

Weird  On the 100 it was just 4 bolts (and a million cables) holding the inner panel on and the whole lot came off with the window and frame just leaving the door as an empty shell with the lock just sitting there, the A4 is different again, the whole window mech slots out the top like a cartridge but it leaves the inner panel so you'd still take skin off your hands getting to the lock.

Cheers dude - the wife reckons it's probably a cancellation. She's not panicking anyway, it never usually takes her much to panic...

Oooh, I do feel a fool - it was only for a blood test  I should get the results in 7 days. Or more, probably.

And the yoyo delighted me by turning on the emissions lights on my way there and again on my way back again - both times as I was just pulling onto the motorway  I couldn't be asked to pull onto the hard shoulder so it got where it was going first. There was an impressive amount of heat coming off the cat, I hope the guy's right and it can't burn this one out :frown:

Saw this this morning in my mate's yard, it took me a while to recognise it. Goran reckons it'll cost about 1,100 quid to put right, I reckon more as the driver's door dropped about 2 inches when I opened it & I had to lift it to get it shut again. Pilot error apparently, Goran says his bro doesn't drive fast, just fast enough I guess

Like my BXs were, 1.9 16 valve 150bhp 0-60 in 7.5 seconds... Them were the days :(

Apparently he hit a Škoda (oh dear), the plastic shattered up until the inner wing and then it turned into a banana.
