Removing rear caliper to get to handbrake drum

Post by jason1987 »

Ive had my rears off before but cant remember how i got the top bolt off, the one thats an allen screw, im sure it would have been to stiff to undo with just an allen key? but i cant remember what i used, or is it sometimes a hex screw?

I always use the hex bit that came with my impact wrench, the adaptor on the driver fits onto a 1/2" ratchet and a pipe fits over that...

Gailing that, you can get the disk of without removing the caliper, you just have to remove the pads.
