I was in Comet earlier and this chav couple were talking to a woman on customer services and i heard him say "i don't really give a f*ck about that tbh my concern is what if my cooker catches fire tomorrow?"

My answer would have been well don't take drugs while cooking but i don't think he would have liked that what i think he was getting at is. His warranty being void with them going out of business.

Surely he still has the manufacturer 12 months but has he taken out the comet extended warranty and he was bitching about that being no good to him... Where do people stand on that any idea?

He does, assuming the cooker is still within its warranty period.

The extended warranty (I believe) isn't actually run by Comet - they sell you it, but it's provided by another company, so you should still be covered even if Comet completely tanks and disappears (looks very much like it at the moment).

Comet, is crap on Waranty,
ibought one of them up right carpet washer things, (Vax)

used it once put it away, 3mths later used it again, it started Arking out, (it was flurked)
took it back,
sorry we carnt replace it we dont stock that model anymore, so we will give you a refund
and then you can buy another one from us 70quid more expensive, same fecking thing just a diffent colour
