just use a small peice of wire,

make a U shape, just to Bridge it, if the light then goes out, Wrap some insulation Tape Round the connector and the U shaped Bridged wire
if you get what imean,

This happened to my Focus.
It didn't have a seperate caliper carrier, the caliper bolted straight onto the hub. Somehow the caliper bolt thread has been stripped.

I got a new hub and bearing. Stripped the car down and got a mechanic to press the bearing in and put the car back together.

He hammered the bearing in, then to tighten it up (bare in mind he must have weighted 25st+) he stood on a meter long breaker bar.

Took it to my regular mechanic who said the end of the bearing had "Mushroomed" where it had been tightened up so much :evil:
