Best thing to do ithink is have a nosey over the pedal area,

also bare in mind these where built for LHD so The Main area to look at is in the passenger side, (remove carpet type cover under glove box-its held in place by Velcro strips )

idont think itl be Slave or Master cylinder but icouid be wrong,

Mine came with a card amongst the Service history,
saying which items have been Rectified

not sure how youd know withought the card/it shouid be in the Leather Wallet you get with the Renaults, if you dont have that
then perhaps contact the Main Agents, it shouid be on there Data base - (unless its an import)

Hi,i recently had similar problem with the clutch but the problem was cylinders.
If you didnt notice any oil on the pedal behind it,than the cylinders probably aint problem.
Air in the system? i had it but due to the gasket of the cylinders,it began to fall apart and clutch was loosing pressure.
Maybe some gasket has hole or something, dont know.

I was thinking maybe if you gave serial number of your car to the renault person, they could see if your car is marked for that spring replacement.

Hi,
if your planning on keeping it a long while, iwouid have the clutch changed,

If youve got the 6speed (pk6) box, Make sure they put the correct oil in,
there a Rather fragile gearbox, the correct oil is vital,

they are a good Motor if you keep ontop of them..

Make sure you clear the scuttle drains before the winter sets in
