sqeek from rear wheel

after getting through my m.o.t on my 406 hdi rapier ive developed a sqeek coming from the rear wheel,sounds like the offside wheel.i only get it when turning left which is when theres more weight on the rear left wheel,ive also tried pulling the handbrake lever up slightly whilst driving and the sqeek stops,its only started since leaving the m.o.t station.
