Android Anti Virus

Post by leestudd30 »

Does anyone on here use them? I've managed to get Kaspersky free as Barclays recommend it for their mobile banking app but I think its slowed down the phone a bit. Anyone have recommendations? Did use to have Lookout installed but the banking app couldn't detect it.

I've got a free AVG one on mine, it's fine but I haven't tried it with a banking app.

I have Avast installed on my HTC Sensation phone, which runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Doesn't seem to have affected the battery life or system performance. It also has never found any viruses / malware so far, but I reckon that's because I've never tried to install any infected / maliciously-designed apps.
