Vinyl Dashboards http://www.ehow.com/info_12140965_natur ... oards.html

For vinyl dashboards, any gentle all-purpose cleaner will do. However, some all-purpose cleaners contain harsh ingredients, such as ammonia, that pull the plasticizers out of the vinyl and cause fading or cracks. Instead, make an all-natural, eco-friendly all-purpose cleaner for such dashboards. Combine 1/2 teaspoon of washing soda, 3 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 cups of water and 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil-based soap, such as Castile soap. Spray the natural cleaner onto the dashboard and wipe it away with a soft cloth.

Washing soda?
soap with oil in :?
Vinegar?

Edit: oh its american that explains everything,

Soap based on olive oil? Wonder where I'd get that here (don't get me started on the price of olive oil here - aka liquid gold  ffs the stuff grows here). I guess I'll have to stop using the surface cleaner on the Pug (the Toyota just gets a blow out with the air line when I can be bothered)

If corn oil is made with corn and peanut oil is made with peanuts, then what is baby oil made with?

Like tinned food, stuff with beef in it has a picture of a cow on the tin, stuff with pork has a pig, so what's in the tin with a baby on it? :?

My wife pays about 9 quid a litre direct from the producers, mainly because it's not been watered down yet. Stuff in the shops starts about 5 quid a litre for the cheapest possible crap up to something preposterous because it's got truffles in it. Allegedly.
