I was thinking of this the other day, for outside trim i use baby oil and was wondering if it would work inside? only problem i see is it could attract dust...But what doesn't? :?

some stuff goes shity with age /or in heat,

someone sprayed the dash in the lag with some silicone stuff and its all sticky or it was,
Silicone based stuff creates a layer over top of dust and dirt ..its like using varnish/laquer ithink
