Hi all,
My 2.0 hdi exec estate pulls slightly left, and today I noticed the NSR tyre is nearly on limit markers after only 15k!
Any ideas please. PS all the front joints are OK as just had a bush replaced all checked and tracking done.
Thanks in advance. keithg

Re: 1 Rear tyre wearing fast!
There is an adjustment on the rear suspension, when you had the tracking done was it just tracking or proper 4 wheel alignment? Also has the tyre worn evenly?
My estate has always eaten back left tyres, 15K miles seems about what I get. I always put it down to my driving style and the fact that in the UK we turn right a lot more than we turn left

Re: 1 Rear tyre wearing fast!
Hi thanks for your reply.no it wasnt a four wheel alignment just the front. I didnt realise that the rear could be tracked. I was only p****d about the miles as the OSR tyre is only half worn and I used to get loads more miles from my 405 estate and yes it has worn perfectly evenly.
Re: 1 Rear tyre wearing fast!
I had the same problem wore a set of tyres out in no time. I had a 4 wheel alignment done last month cost 60 quid uses high Res cameras the back tyre on mine were wearing on the inside edge it only took a couple of weeks for them to end up up useless its definately worth the money

Could also be a knackered bush or even a defective brake

Re: 1 Rear tyre wearing fast!
Thanks for your help all,
Ill have the bushes checked first but as it has just passed the MOT I thought it would be OK there.
I suppose Ill have to wait till the tracking is done to see if that cures the slight left pull, its a good car otherwise but I dont want to spend alot on it until I know that it has stopped the left pull because although only slight it is annoying.
Is it only Peugeot that can do the 4 wheel tracking?
Thanks for the brake advice Steve I am about to fit new discs and pads on the rear this may show something up.

Re: 1 Rear tyre wearing fast!
There are lots of places that have 4 wheel alignment gear, but a lot don't go to the trouble of setting it up well, using it well or training the staff properly.
It's a bit of a trek to Brentwood from Kent, but if you're North Kent and want somewhere trusted, I can recommend here: www.skidmarquesltd.com/
That said there should be someone near you.
