Lowering - coupe springs on saloon?

Post by RobTurbo »

I'm not 100% sure I'm keeping the 406 because of the braking problems I'm having, I'll know for sure by the end of the month!

If I'm keeping it I want it lower, I don't want it dragging it's arse, just want to stop it looking like a 4x4! I know on a lot of cars the "sportier" models are a bit lower, and by fitting the springs from those models to lesser models you get the same looks, is this the case with 406 coupe springs onto a saloon, or are the coupes just as high as saloons?

Also, coupe lowering springs are cheaper than saloon lowering springs for some odd reason!

We've done this one before and I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

I think availability is down to supply and demand - more people with coupés have a desire to ground out on speed bumps.
