Strut brace from coupé went straight in to my 110hdi estate. No fouls anywhere.
Used the longer bolts from the car it came from.
Surprising levels of reduction in shudder in bends with crap road surfaces.

All fitted few bashes with a hammer and fit fine just got to get some longer bolts
2.1 glx p reg d9 half leather electric seats d9 centre console leather steering wheel front lag splitter de badged front end strut brace all grey bits of interior is now black
Things to do finish off fitting leather door cards,coil overs,window tint, fit wolfrace wheels with 20 mm spacers 225.45.17 and the list will continue

dunno if this has been said not read the whole thread.

i got a block of wood and lump hammer and hit it down were its welded the the side rings. i think it only needed knocking down on the drivers side

Well I hit both sides were its welded and on the last bend befor the straight and it sits nice now leaves as well just
Got to fit some longer bolts and I'll give it some round the bends see what's its

I think u only have to hit them of there on a d8 they seem to fit d9 with no problem

yeh ive had to hit mine on my d8
1998 peugeot 406 2.1 td executive saloon silver,d9 mods 18" dare v2 alloys In Phase XTC 6.5″ 240W Component Speakers up front and Vibe Slick 6x9 Three Way Speakers - Slick 693 in the rear runing off a Alpine MRV-F307 V12 Series amp and a vibe cbr 12 twin evo sub in the boot. 1998 peugeot 406 2.1 td lx saloon red

Hi
My strut brace is for sale as I sold my 406.
This fits Coupe, Saloon, Estate D9 all engines.
Fits D8 when eased down with a mallet (see cooments above)
£25 including the longer bolts required.
Collect from Northampton.
Courier or delivery possible by negotiation.
