Re: Rattts
I had one or two mice in my Office once, they go through bins looking for food - one went in my bin and bit through a scrunched-up tin foil ball because there was a bit of bread in there. They also bite through black bin bags looking for stuff.
Another time I left a packet of Cheese & Onion
crisps on my desk and the feckers bit through the packet and munched a load of crisps
Then, another time, I had caught one in my ubber-trap but failed to notice it for 2 days.........another mouse had started to EAT the one in the trap, seriously, dirty bastards.
I think I had the last laugh though when I caught two, together, trying to make a break for freedom......only I unloaded half a can of industrial adhesive on them and killed them
During my research into the problem I discovered than mice don't drink anything
they gain any 'moisture' they need from the food they find
If anyone thinks mice are cute think again - they are stinking, destructive, cannibalistic, piss-trailing, hair-shedding shitty-arsed bastards.

Re: Rattts
My last place I had a couple of carrier bags from lunches that I forgot about in my bottom drawer.
Come to leaving and clearing the drawers out, I find that they're shredded, the buggers made themselves a bed out of it!
Though luckily there weren't any in the drawer at the time.

Earlier this year i was sorting the front box of my caravan out and needed to get my breathable groundsheet out to put in the awning, it's rolled up in there and only just fits...Sometime during the winter a mouse had got in there and made a tunnel through about 8 layers of it... He must have been a coal miner in another life the tunnel he dug was a ferfect round hole.
Luckily the groundsheet was for my old awning as i had bought a smaller one and every little hole was in a bit that could be cut off thankfully... Little potholling bastard.

My cat keeps bringing feild mice in,
chews there heads off and dumps the rest on my mrs feet,

Re: Rattts
Our cat used to enjoy catching the mouse but not killing them she would play about with it throwing it up in the air and let it run a bit, the cat that tortured the mice, whereas the dog isn't evil its just snap, then dead, no more mouse
A neighbour asked me to sell her BMW 318i a 1997. It had been sitting in her garage but the electrics were wonky, opening the bonnet revealed that mice were nibbling through the wires in the engine bay, there was insulation everywhere. They may not be as vicious as the rats but they still are as dangerous in terms of the damage they do and the diseases they carry.
Lozz what treatment did you have for the Leptospirosis, what symptoms is there to look out for?

Leptospirosis is like having very bad flue to start with,

ihad the priest come in and read me last rights its that bad, luckily irecoverd from it sort of,
not many people catch it, iwas one of the unlucky ones,

Female mud wrestler was she?lozz wrote: like have you been with any Mucky ladys and that was with wife 0.1 sat at side of me,

Animals carry all sorts and that one sounds nasty.
when i was 11 (many years ago) the docs had to remove sists from my liver the size of grapefruits and around the same time all within my first year starting comp i had half a lung removed due to bronchiectasis (spelling) now one of them was a disease only found in sheep

Now i know i'm Welsh and spent my childhood either down the river fishing or exploring the mountain but i was never that intimate with sheep.
That came when i lost my virginity at 15 i remember her mothers words when she found out she called me a baaastard!!!
Re: Rattts

Kebab meat is also made from lamb, is it not?
Though a lot of places serve steak kebab, which can be a bit tough.
Lot of variation on quality and quantity of kebab. The ideal kebab sits somewhere between the 2, slightly towards the quality end of the scale.
I mind my student days, straight out of the students union and there was a decent kebab place across the road from it, empire kebabs.
Winter time, the roads were all iced up, I thought it would be a good idea to go ice skating in my good shoes...
Cut my hands to bits, my good 'going out' trousers ripped to shreds, got into the halls and the night porter had to first aid my hand as blood everywhere.
But I never dropped that kebab.
The big question is:
Garlic, chilli or house sauce?
Microwave kebabs, I've only ever had one good one, they used to sell in the Livingston Morrisons, in the chilled aisle, fresh pitta bread. Can't find them anywhere here for love nor money.
