still have a clunk on the rear of my 406.
any1 any ideas ?

The favourite place to start is the rear anti roll bar mounting bushes imo.
The roll bar bolts to a kinda bulkhead and the rubbers wear out. If you can get someone to drive whilst you sit in the back you'll hear it even more.
The drivers-side one is a pig to get a socket onto the bracket and most have to drop the fuel filler neck down to get to it

ye i was thinking them welly. see wot mot man says 2moro. will ask him look while car is over his pit.
may just pay an hours labour and get them to fit them for me .

got 1 advisory on MOT today. rear anti roll bar corroded but not exesive and not weakend
