more questions I know - so unfamiliar with these engines!
the vacuum pickup hose seems to have come off the hole it goes on (located near the top of the intercooler on some pipework) on drivers side.
this would explain my engine light.... i have reconnected it once, but the hose has come back off again!
i just want to know, are these meant to be attached by some sort of clip or jubilee clip? as the hose from my map has no clip at all.
I want to check its meant to be 'held' in place before i just put a jubilee clip on it, or if there is a 'reason' mine keeps getting blown off. there is also a lot of oil on the pipework in that area possibly coming from the hole the hose is meant to be attached too :/
