Brake options?
Brake pad warning light is comming on very dimly when I apply the brakes. Had a look and theres still abit on them, will do for a month or two anyway.
Thinking Mintex all round and front and rear goodrich braided houses with a fresh fluid change.

Just fancy a sharper pedal.
Anyone got any other options?

Re: Brake options?
euro car parts always have an offer on every so often. its not on constant but it always comes and goes
usually 20% off all brake equipment.
i will wait for that offer when i need new disc's and pads
eicher brakes there called. the cheap ones will do perfectly for driving we do really.
i see no point spending shed loads on expensive disc's and pads for a family saloon car
each to their own tho

then throw them away after 6 -7 mths,
ive not had to buy brake discs for a car by doing that,

Re: Brake options?
Had Eichers on my last 406 and my Focus. I find them crap, seem to work gently or very hard but nothing in between

Re: Brake options?
I bought the front pads on ebay (250980026541) and waited and found a pair of genuine front discs on there for £30 so thats the front sorted quite cheaply,if your in no hurry i'd just keep an eye out and see what crops up.

Jurid and Mintex are the same, at least they are made in the same factory.

Had a think, my brakediscs have a little lip. Nothing serious. Just going to go for a set of Pagid pads and get my brake fluid replaced I think.
