Buying a 406 hdi saloon 1.9t

Well lads,and lassies!! Im handy with cars, mainly jap, but im hopeing to purchase a hdi 406 saloon this weekend. I havnt driven it yet. The owner told me there is a rattle in the back end??....how much are trailing arms??? or could it be more serious as ive never been under a 406!!...soon too change!! >any tips on what to look out for before buying??...

welcome to the forum ... if its a HDi it will be a 2.0litre not 1.9 mate.... HDi come in 3 different powers. 90 bhp . 110 bhp . and 140 bhp

the rattling at the back will probably be the top links. cost about £10 from ebay for the 2 or about £15 from car motor factors
very easy to change

Thanks, lad, ive just dowloaded the HAYNES manual to get a look at the rear end, cant't be anything major! i just wanted to see if anyone had any tips on it!!! :cheesy:
