Groan sound when i turn right when driving
getting a groan sound when i turn right sometimes it seems, kind of like loud road noise but its not, but only seems to do it when im turning, say doing 40-50 and changing lanes or something, anyone know what it could be? if was wheel bearing it would make the noise most of the time wouldnt it?

I got this before. Check your power steering fluid reservoire - mine needed a top-up as I would hear a groaning while turning. Was fine afterwards.

Couid be a Tyre ,
try changing the tyre on the side the car is making the noise on put the spare on perhaps,
ive had some noisey tyres, also check you havent got a winter tyre on some of the tyres thats floating about with the M&s markings on ithink or is it W&s dunno but there noisy feckers ,
if not a tyre jack the car up and spin each wheel see if you can hear any noises or grating if so itl be a wheel bearin on its way out,

Re: Groan sound when i turn right when driving
When I had the disco the wheel bearings were on there way out and before it became completely obvious it was the bearings i had a low moan/groan on left hand turns, not at slow speeds just above 20mph so i would say its very possible that it is a bearing, when i jacked it and span the wheels it wasnt obvious in fact they sounded and felt fine, it took a good days off roading for them to start sounding bad when jacked up.
