another big soft renault, this one is very cheap. but with 136bhp that engine isnt really doing much to push the car along 12.6 seconds is about the same as a hdi 110
Most of the performance is eaten by the slushmatic box which also happens to cost an absolute fortune if it goes wrong. Apart from that though it is a real bargain & that one is low mileage & looks very clean. Bet it sells quick. I remember when they first came out. One of very few cars to feature electric rear seats!

So much options, so much to go wrong on a Renault! I bet it'd be sold in exactly 4.17 seconds if it was a diesel.

the nice ish one is nice ish but its not really very well specced by 605 standards.

the not nice them seats look horribly dirty and i bet that car stinks its been on ebay for a long time, i mind seeing that ad back in october, and its got the steering wheel on the incorrect side.

the 605 to look out for is the 3.0 v6 sve24 model ie the top one, 200bhp :cheesy:

Just saw a decent looking D8 2.1TD GLX on Gumtree, there:

Looks quite decent, I quite like a D8 in White, especially a GLX with nearly all the toys. Would be a great project car, would definitely call it a bargain at the price.

yup the safrane got the prv v6 engine, which was also found on the only car northern ireland can take credit for the delorean, but i still would prefer the renault 25, even today its like sitting in a very well equipped car, theres even cubby holes in the door armrest. if buying a 25 just steer clear from autos any still knocking about must have been good enough to have lasted.
as for the traffic van which nissan and vauxhall make my cousin has the renault one and its quite fast for a van, he has had no troubles unlike the master before it which blew a turbo.
the only thing negative is the gearchange is very renaultish ie rubbery and indirect.

I've driven a 25 and a 605 - both of which are very rare here!

25 = blergh. Nothing special. 2.2 Dourvin mated to the NG3 gearbox.

605 = PRV V6, which was surprisingly not as quick as i would of hoped. A 406 V6 is a much nicer car of the same era to drive!

the 25 was available with a turbo v6, that couldnt have been slow.

that c6 there is so much bullshit in that ad it puts me off it, seems like 90% of the ad is the seller covering his ass incase something goes wrong.

id prefer if they were honest and said this car is fubard
the c6 bodywork is very special, fixing it wouldnt be done by any person with a tub of isopon and an inability to write a gumtree ad. £250 seems too cheap.
