Add a DVD Player + 2 screens in the back of the head rests for your customers enjoyment. Play comedy's or PORN when they get in. If they drunk they might be more relaxed watching a comedy and laughing rather than having a go at the taxi driver. ;)

I like the tv idea. It could really calm some twats down. I bet youd get punters who just want to go a run to see this taxi with TV's.
A great selling point.
Otherwise, a magic tree will do nicely. The car is perfect as it is.

I think that would be probably the best mod I could introduce for the customers
You mean, professionally over loaded with weight
The 406, in exec guise has good sound proofing anyway, it is everywhere.
Dynamat seems to be the stuff for the job but you have to strip your interior back to basics to fit the stuff, only to be let down by the amount of noise transmitted from the glass
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work
Dynamat.... pfffttt I spit in the face of people who aren't cool !
dynamat is a rip off ! There is a product from Car Sound Supplies / Ivanhoe called brown bread... its £6.50 approx a roll and is larger than the dynamat and works just as well if not better, you can also make your own using a mixture of under body sealer and a fine sand with tin foil for an overlay !
Dynamat is overpirced for what it is.... brown bread is the way forward !

It's usually for cars with powerful ICE systems, it adds weight to panels and stops them resonating. You've seen cars going past with subwoofers booming and the bootlids sounding like wet farts in a baked beans tin? That's cos they haven't been adequately sound damped.
There are much cheaper ways to do the job than using Dynamat... the self adhesive flashing strips from DIY shops are fantastic, you might need to use two layers to achieve the same result but as it's a fraction of the price you still save money. Also, expanding foam is brilliant for geting rid of rattles between the inner and outer skin, and good for filling cavities where you can't soundproof.
Unless you're running a huge system with loads of bass, there's very little need to soundproof the whole car, especially as the Exec trim has a lot of sound deadening already fitted. Areas for best results are the inner face of the outer door skin where the stock speakers locate, and if you're running a sub in the boot a couple of layers to the inside face of the bootlid won't go amiss.
