Front Links

Post by GTXJez »

Hi All
Have the obligatory Front Links to do this week!
Got some quality ones of te Bay of E as recommended by one of the guy's.
BUT I have no manual or can't find any reference on the world wide what?

Does any one have anything they can email me or a link to some kind of reference so I can do the job :?

Told it isn't that difficult and just need spanners, but some have said I may nee a 'grinder' to cut he old ones off? :!:

Cheers

you cant really go wrong on this job jez. once you have the new links in hand you can see what they look like .

just chop the ones off the car and bolt them in place. if you really need i will spin front wheel off in the morning and take sum pictures for you and post instructions.

let us knowif you would prefere that. i dont have any pic of them in my album to post now. 8)

jez this pic might be a bit better to understand . pic was taken with a little distance to give you a picture of the surrounding area as well

chop the 2 bolts off at each end of the droplink. dont worry about the anti roll bar moving, that will not go anywere when droplink has been removed

once them 2 bolts have been removed take a hammer and knock the link out . simply slot the new one in place and bolt them up.

smudge copper grease over the bolt and nut once fixed into place. this will stop dirt and rust attaking it (helps with removal next time round)

PS THIS IS DRIVERS SIDE - JUST TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUR OWN PASSANGER SIDE BEFORE YOU TAKE IT OFF FOR REFERENCE OF WERE IT ALL GOES
BUT I DONT THINK THEY WILL GO ON ANY OTHER WAY
